Cookies are small text files your browser stores for a website. Some keep the site working, some tell us how the site is used, and some let advertising partners show you our ads elsewhere. Similar tools, such as browser local storage and tracking pixels, are covered here too.

Why we use cookies

• Session management: keeping you signed in and your order together while you move between pages.
• Security: protecting forms and sign-in against forged requests and automated abuse.
• Traffic routing: sending each visit to a working server so pages load quickly (load balancing).
• Measurement and fraud prevention: counting visits, finding the pages where customers get stuck or checkout fails, spotting suspicious checkouts, and learning which ads and searches bring customers to us.
• Advertising: letting advertising partners show you our ads on other sites and tell us whether they worked. This is the only use you need to opt out of, and you can.

Strictly necessary

These keep you signed in, keep your order together, protect forms and sign-in, send each visit to a working server, and remember your privacy choice and light or dark mode. They run on every visit because the site cannot work without them, and they are never used for advertising. Most end when you close your browser or within days; your saved privacy choice lasts 13 months.

Measurement and fraud prevention

These include our own record of which ad, search or website brought you to us, so a later order can be matched to the visit that led to it (kept up to two years), site statistics, and session tools that show how visitors click and scroll so we can see where a checkout goes wrong and spot suspicious orders. The providers of these tools work for us as service providers under contract and may not use the data for anything else, so they keep running after you opt out. We do not sell this data.

Advertising

These let the advertising networks and platforms we advertise with recognize your browser, show you our ads on other sites and report back whether an ad led to a visit or an order. They come from search and display ad networks, social media platforms and content recommendation networks, plus one heatmap tool whose provider also uses the data for its own purposes, so we treat it like advertising. Each provider sets its own cookies and decides how long they last. Under California law this is "sharing" personal information, and you can turn it off.

Other services on our pages

Our pages also load a tag manager that loads the tools above, a call tracking script that shows which ads lead to phone calls, a customer review widget, and a translation tool when you choose a language. Each provider receives your IP address and browser details when its script loads.

Your choices

Opt out of advertising: use Your Privacy Choices, the link at the bottom of every page. It stops the advertising tools and that heatmap tool for your browser on stickerquicker.com and app.stickerquicker.com. No account is needed.

Global Privacy Control: if your browser sends this signal, we honor it automatically as an opt-out and show "Opt-Out Request Honored" at the bottom of the page.

Do Not Track: browsers' older Do Not Track setting has no agreed standard, so we do not respond to it. Global Privacy Control is the signal we honor.

Browser settings: you can block or delete cookies in your browser. Blocking the strictly necessary ones will stop sign-in and checkout from working. Deleting cookies also deletes your saved privacy choice, so save it again afterward.
